Before moving on from my military service let me go back a little . My service in the Navy composed of  a total of 28 years . 1961-1963  and 1967-1992. Navy Seabees.

Tours of duty consisted of  Port Hueneme CA MCB 10 with deployments to Vietnam. NAF Atsugi Japan, Duties included Contracting officer and managing all utilites on base .MCB 1 with deployments to Okinawa Rota Spain, Guam. NAF Midway Island , Duties included managing all utilities on the island.  NAVFAC Centerville Beach CA, Ferndal CA. Duties included managing all utilities on a isolated base .Fleet Hospital Support Office Alameda CA, with deployments to Norway, Sicily, Guam, Saudi Arabia. Duties included managing all electrical equipment and power generators kept in storage at overseas locations and at supply depot California.  MCB 4  Davisville, RI,  with deployments to  Guantanamo Bay Cuba, Argentia New Newfoundland, Canada, Rota Spain .

Education programs I attended:  2 yrs of College in HVAC ( Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Electronics, Back Flow Prevention, Corrosion Control , Language, Fire Alarm Systems, Contracting Officer, Quality Control, Blue  print reading , Power Line construction, Concrete Construction, Management , Preservation Control , Safety , Communication Security Systems ,Planning and Estimating, Weapons Training, Leadership,  NCO Club Management, Generator repair and maintenance .Etc.
/ My rating when I finally retired was Senior Chief Construction Electrician .E-8, All of this information will be relevant in my second career with the US State Department. In which all this training will will play a vital roll in my career as a Facility Manager .
